I love smartphones and I am a fan of both iOS and Android. However, there always has been one debate that sparks my brain: which one is better? There is Android fanboy and then there are iPhone fanboys. There is no question that both these platforms are awesome and both excel in their own way. Android is flexible and brings functionality that an iPhone cannot deliver. However, iOS is also a platform that can outsmart Android in their own right. I love them both, and today I want to point what Android phones cannot do as compared to an iOS device.
1. iOS Apps Beat Android Apps By A Mile

Everyone know iOS has better looking, more stable and the latest apps on their App Store as compared to any Android device. Hell, even Google makes better apps for the iOS than they do for Android devices. Whenever a brand new app is set to launch, developers always prioritise the Apple App Store. This is because iOS apps make more money than their Play Store equivalent. Apps also release first on the App Store because it is easier to make an app for the iOS as the android version of the same app requires extra coding to achieve the same functionality.
Prime example being Prisma, for the very same reason mentioned above, the popular app debuted on the App store two prior to it its Play Store release date. Now that says something.
2. It Is Simple To Use

Android phones give you loads of customisation options. While it may be its biggest strength but it is also its biggest weakness. Android users can use fancy launchers to make their phone look pretty but most of them are not stable on every phone. There is no consistency. iOS on the flipside offer consistency as their software are same across all their devices. This makes their phone stable and correlatable across every iPhone user.
3. Instant Updates For All

When Apple releases a new iOS update, everyone and I mean everyone gets the update. From iPhone users to iPad and iPod users too. Apple likes to control every aspect of their operating system and because of this complete control, they maintain quality and stability Android users can only dream of. When Apple releases an update, it does not have to worry about third party manufacturers.
They are very efficient when it comes to updating their devices; as a result, they are the first to address software glitches or any security vulnerabilities.
Android users, on the other hand, have to wait for smartphone manufacturers to implement the latest update of Android which can take months and can be frustrating.
4. iPhones Are More Secure than Android Phones

There is no doubt iOS is more secure than Android. In 2015, Mobile Threat Report, Pulse Secure estimated that over 95% of all malware is actually written for Android devices. Android users cannot upgrade to the latest of the operating system due to which it makes them an easy target. Android also has more devices running their operating system worldwide which makes them an easy target.
5. Less Ads
Apple devices have lesser intrusive ads in their apps as compared to Android apps. This is because Apple has a very stringent process when it comes to approving apps that sell on their app store which makes them a better choice if you get bugged by ads a lot.
